
UNIQLO, Japan’s most popular apparel retailer and a worldwide leader in casual wear, today announced the first stand-alone kids-only store. Beginning on May 14, the 1,200 square foot store located at 2235 Broadway between West 79th and 80th streets, will now cater to the demands of the the up and coming talents. Open since October 2006, the temporary store was established to give consumers the opportunity to “sneak preview” the UNIQLO Soho Flagship store which opened last November. It will remain open through Summer 2007. Expect only the best from the Upper West Side kids-only store from basic 100% cotton T’s and loungewear to more fashionable skinny jeans for girls, gingham shirts for boys. This will be great for all the parents out there.
